বড়লেখা মৌলভীবাজার প্রতিনিধি :

মৌলভীবাজারের বড়লেখা উপজেলায় সালাউদ্দিন (৩৫) নামের এক দিনমজুর যুবকের ক্ষতবিক্ষত মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে বড়লেখা থানা পুলিশ।
আজ শনিবার (১৯ এপ্রিল) সন্ধ্যার দিকে বর্ণি ইউনিয়নের বর্ণির চক (দৌঁড়েরবাজার) এলাকার রাইতখালী খাল থেকে তার মরদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়।

নিহত সালাউদ্দিন বারোহাল গ্রামের বাসিন্দা এবং কমর উদ্দিনের ছেলে। তার শরীরের বিভিন্ন অংশে ধারালো অস্ত্রের আঘাতের চিহ্ন রয়েছে। প্রাথমিক তদন্তে পুলিশ ধারণা করছে, দুর্বৃত্তরা তাকে হত্যা করে মরদেহ খালে ফেলে দেয়।

থানা পুলিশ ও এলাকাবাসী সূত্রে জানা যায়, শনিবার বিকেল চারটার দিকে রাইতখালী খালে একটি মরদেহ ভাসতে দেখেন এলাকাবাসী। পরে তারা সেটিকে বারোহাল গ্রামের দিনমজুর সালাউদ্দিন হিসেবে শনাক্ত করেন এবং পুলিশকে খবর দেন। পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে উপস্থিত হয়ে মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে।

নিহতের মামাতো ভাই তোফায়েল আহমদ লায়েক জানান, সালাউদ্দিন সাধারণত রাতে দেরিতে বাড়ি ফিরতেন। কিন্তু শুক্রবার রাতে তিনি ঘর থেকে বের হওয়ার পর আর ফেরেননি। শনিবার বিকেলে রাইতখালী খালে তার মরদেহ পাওয়া যায়। তিনি বলেন, “সালাউদ্দিন খুবই শান্ত স্বভাবের মানুষ ছিলেন। তার কারও সঙ্গে কোনো বিরোধ ছিল না। আমরা এই নির্মম হত্যাকাণ্ডের সুষ্ঠু তদন্তের মাধ্যমে দুষ্কৃতকারী সন্ত্রাসীদের দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি চাই।

Baralekha Thana police have recovered the body of a day-laborer young man named Salauddin (35) in Moulvibazar's Baralekha Upazila.
The body was recovered from the Raitkhali canal in the area of ​​Barni Union, 19th April) in the evening.
The slain Salauddin is a resident of Barohal village and is the son of Kamra Uddin. There are signs of a sharp weapon injury in different parts of his body. The police think in the initial investigation, the miscreants kill him and throw him into the body canal.
According to police and local sources, a locals saw a body floating in the canal at around 4 pm on Saturday. Later they identified it as a day laborer of Barohal village and reported it to the police. The police recovered the body at the scene.
Nihat's cousin Tofail Ahmed Layek said that Salauddin would usually return home late at night. But he did not return home after he left the house on Friday night. His body was found in Raitkhali canal on Saturday afternoon. He said, “Salauddin was a very quiet person. He had no dispute with anyone. We want exemplary punishment for the corrupt terrorists through proper investigation in this brutal murder.
