The 6th Annual Isaal-e-Sawab Mahfil of the internationally renowned Islamic scholar, Pir-e-Kamil Hazrat Allama Mufti Mujahid Uddin Choudhury Dubagi Sahib Qiblah (Rahmatullah Alaihi) will be held at the historic London Brick Lane Jamia Masjid on Sunday, 12 July 2026. In order to make the Mahfil a success, a preparation meeting was held under the chairmanship of Allama Zillur Rahman Choudhury Dubagi, on Sunday, 5 July 2026, at 4 pm in the hall room at Brick Lane Mosque. In attendance were: Maulana Waliur Rahman Choudhury Dubagi, Maulana Mahbubur Rahman Choudhury Dubagi, Maulana Aminul Islam Joldupi, Professor Misbah Uddin Kamal, Alhaj Selim Rahman, Mashiur Rahman Chowdhury Mitu, Nizam Uddin, Alhaj Matiur Rahman Shahi, Alhaj Nurul Islam.

The activities of the day will begin with the ziyarah at the shrine of Allama Dubagi Sahib (RA). After that, the main programme will include: the Khatm-e-Quran, khatm-e-Khazegan, khatm-e-Dalailul Khayrat, zikr mahfil, commemorative speeches, milad sharif and dua. The mahfil will be presided over by Allama Dubagi Sahib (RA)’s eldest sahibzada Allama Zillur Rahman Choudhury Dubagi.

The organisers hope that the Mahfil will attract the Mureedeen and Muhibbeen of Allama Dubagi Sahib (RA) and Muslims from all walks of life from various cities in Britain,. Food will be arranged for the guests.

Renowned Pir-Mashaykhs, Alim-Ulama, Islamic scholars, educationists, various political leaders and community figures from different countries will attend the Mahfil. The Isaal-e-Sawab Mahfil Committee has sought the full co-operation of the Muslim community from all walks of life to make the Mahfil a success and worthwhile.

It is to be noted that Pir-e-Kamil Hazrat Allama Mufti Mujahid Uddin Choudhury Dubagi Sahib (Rahimahullah) was a well-known Walī Allāh in the UK. He was the founder-president of the UK Ulama Society, founder of UK Anjuman-e-Al-Islah and one of the founders of London Darul Hadith Latifia. His multifaceted service to the religion by preaching and propagating Islam in the UK for almost half a century is one of the reasons for his wide recognition.

Allama Dubagi Sahib (RA)’s life was completely dedicated to the path of Allah. He was an institution, a beacon of Islamic knowledge. He was active in the fields of – Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh, Qiraat, Tasawwuf, Da’wah-Tabligh, social reform, waz-naseeha, teaching, writing books in Arabic, Urdu and Bengali and serving Islam at the international level.

He has had the opportunity to sit with the great Ulama-e-Karam of many countries of the world including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Kuwait, Palestine, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Europe and America. He has had discussions on divine knowledge with these famous muhaqqiq Ulama-e-Mashaykhs of all these countries and has exchanged the sanads of Hadith. He has done many services in the service of the helpless and distressed people of the society. He was a person of diverse experience and great personality. Through his work, he has occupied a huge place in the hearts of people of all walks of life, including his followers and well-wishers.

Hazrat Allama Mufti Mujahid Uddin Choudhury Dubagi Saheb Qiblah (R.A.) was born in 1929 in Dubag village of Beanibazar upozilla, Sylhet, Bangladesh. After living a life spanning almost a century, on 10 July 2020, Friday just before jumma, Allama Dubagi Sahib (R.A.) returned to his Lord in London.
