একটি মহল মিথ্যা প্রাপাগান্ডা ছড়িয়ে মব সৃষ্টি করে গনপিটুনি দিয়ে থানায় দিলে গাজীপুরের কাপাসিয়া থানার অসির হেফাজতে থাকা অবস্থায় সেখানে বিনা চিকিৎসায় মৃত্যুবরন করেন তরুন সংগঠক মাওলানা রইস উদ্দিন। কেউ অপরাধ করলে তার শাস্তি প্রচলিত আইনে প্রশাসন করবে, এভাবে মব তৈরী করে পরিকল্পিত হত্যাকান্ডের বিচার চাই

ঠুনকো অভিযোগে ২৬ তারিখের সমাবেশের আগমনকে বাধাগ্রস্ত করতে ২৫ তারিখ রাতে পরিকল্পিতভাবে একটি মামলা দায়ের করেন হাজিগঞ্জ থানা শিবিরের সভাপতি আবদুস সালাম।
এ মামলায় হাজিগঞ্জ, শাহরাস্তি সহ আসে পাশের উপজেলার লোকদের আসামী করা হয়।
