সুনামগঞ্জের দোয়ারাবাজার উপজেলার বোগলাবাজার ইউনিয়নের ১নং ওয়ার্ডের ইউপি সদস্য ওয়াদুদ ভুঁইয়ার বিরুদ্ধে অপপ্রচারের এলাকাবাসীর উদ্যোগে প্রতিবাদ ও মানববন্ধন কর্মসূচি পালিত হয়েছে। 

শনিবার (৩ মে) বোগলাবাজার ইউনিয়নের বালিছড়া গ্রামে ১ নং ওয়ার্ডবাসীর উদ্যোগে প্রতিবাদ সভা ও মানববন্ধন কর্মসূচি পালিত হয়েছে।   

প্রতিবাদ সভায় বক্তরা বলেন, সম্প্রতি ফেসবুকসহ বিভিন্ন মাধ্যমে এলাকার কিছু কুচক্রী মহল উদ্দেশ্য প্রণোদিত হয়ে জনপ্রিয়  ইউপি সদস্য ওয়াদুদ ভুঁইয়ার বিরুদ্ধে অপপ্রচার চালিয়ে আসছে। তারা অহেতুক ইউপি সদস্যের বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা বানোয়াট এবং মানহানিকর অপপ্রচারে লিপ্ত রয়েছে। এসব মিথ্যা অপপ্রচারের তীব্র প্রতিবাদ ও নিন্দা জানাই। 

প্রতিবাদ সভায় বালিছড়া গ্রামের আব্দুল মতিন বলেন, ইউপি সদস্য ওয়াদুদ ভুঁইয়া আমাদের এলাকার একজন জনপ্রিয় ব্যক্তি। তাঁর ব্যক্তি ইমেজের কারনেই তিনি বারবার ইউপি সদস্য নির্বাচিত হয়ে আসছেন। একশ্রেণির রাজনৈতিক প্রতিপক্ষ ফেসবুকে তার বিরুদ্ধে অহেতুক মিথ্যা অপপ্রচার চালিয়ে আসছে। এসবের আদৌ কোন সত্যতা নেই। আমরা এমন অপপ্রচারের তীব্র নিন্দা ও প্রতিবাদ জানাই। 

নারী উদ্যোগক্তা সাফিয়া বেগম বলেছেন, যারা ওয়াদুদ মেম্বারের বিরুদ্ধে অপপ্রচার চালাচ্ছেন তারা এলাকার চিহ্নিত মানুষ। অহেতুক তারা মানুষের পিছনে লেগে থাকে। তাদের কাছে এলাকার নিরীহ মানুষ নিরাপদ নয়। বিএনপি’র নাম ভাঙিয়ে এলাকায় তারা ত্রাসের রাজত্ব কায়েম করেছে। 

বালিছড়া গ্রামের জয়নাল আবেদীন বলেন, একটি কুচক্রী মহল অহেতুক ওয়াদুদ ভুঁইয়ার বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা অপপ্রচার চালিয়ে বেড়াচ্ছে। এসবের কোন ভিত্তি নেই। যারা এসব করছে তারা সমাজের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কেউ না। অহেতুক তারা ইউপি সদস্য ওয়াদুদ ভুঁইয়ার বিরুদ্ধে অপপ্রচার চালিয়ে আসছে। 

প্রতিবাদ সভায় অন্যান্যদের মধ্যে বক্তব্য রাকেন, উকিল মিয়া, আছমা আক্তার, মরিয়ম আক্তার, ফাইজা আক্তার, জরিনা বেগম, আব্দুর রহমান, আতাউর রহমান, আব্দুল মতিন, ফিরোজ আহমদ, আব্দুল কাদির, আবুল কালাম প্রমুখ। মানববন্ধন ও প্রতিবাদ শেষে এক বিক্ষোভ মিছিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

On Facebook, a class of political opponent is doing unreasonable propaganda against him. All this has no truth. We strongly condemn and protest against such propaganda.
Women’s entrepreneurs Safia Begum says those who are spreading propaganda against Wadud Member are the marked people of the area. They are unnecessarily followed by people. Innocent people of the area are not safe. They established the rule of relief in the area by breaking the name of the BNP.
The Joynal Abedin said of the Ballichhara village is spreading false propaganda against a Kulkari Mahal Unnecessary Wadud Bhuiyan. There is no basis for all this. Those who are doing these are not important in society. Unnecessary star UP member Wadud Bhuiyan is continuing to promote against Wind Bhuiyan.
